The Episcopal Church
We are The Episcopal Church serving Arlington, Mansfield, and Grand Prairie. Worship is held Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at Theatre Arlington. Join us in the lobby before and after for fellowship and adult learning.

Nursery care and the Atrium where children gather for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, our children’s spiritual formation, are on the second floor.

The office is across Main Street in the Theatre Arlington Education Building.
Statement on Racial Justice
JUNE 25, 2020
Whereas we have committed in our baptismal covenant to “strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being”; and whereas we have stated our mission to “welcome and value all people just as God created them”; and whereas we are at a time in history when churches are joining in action to redress racial injustice; now, therefore be it resolved that the Vestry of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church approve the use of the following statement in our communication to the congregation and the public:

We, The Episcopal Church in Arlington, acknowledge and bear witness to the pain our Black brothers and sisters continue to suffer in our country and around the world due to interpersonal and systemic racism.

We are called by Christ as individuals, and as a faith community, to listen, learn, pray, and act to eliminate systems of oppression and help build a nation and world that looks more like God's dream for us.
​
We strive to be a place where people of color are safe, heard, respected, and loved. This is our long-term commitment. In the words of Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry, "Love looks like all of us, as people of every race and religion and national origin and political affiliation, all of us standing up and saying, "Enough! We can do better than this. We can do better than this."

We welcome all to join us in this ongoing work for racial justice.
