Ways to Give

Support the Church's Missions

"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."

1 PETER 4:10

After prayer and reflection, when you decide to donate to All Souls Episcopal Church, no matter the amount, it is greatly appreciated. Funds are used to support ministries that show love for our neighbor locally and globally. Ten percent of our annual budget is automatically earmarked for outreach. The members of All Souls have shown themselves to be generous and thoughtful in their stewardship and we are truly grateful. Types of donations Include:

  • Monthly Pledge

  • One-Time General Fund Donation

  • Priest Ministry Fund

  • Other Specific Purpose (e.g., Flower, St. Cecilia, or Alleluia Funds)

If you are mailing a check, please note the type of donation in the memo line. If you are donating online, these will be options to select.

Stewardship

Stewardship is more than money. it is the care and proper use of all the gifts of creation. At All Souls, we practice stewardship not only during the traditional pledge season, but we also practice Creation Season – a series of liturgies to wake up our awareness of and shape our care for the world around us.

Of course, part of our stewardship does involve the means by which our work is symbolized – financial resources. Healthy families talk about money, and we do talk transparently about money at the Episcopal Church in Arlington.

The annual budget is presented to the congregation in January and reviewed in June. Our vestry meetings are open and you are welcome to come and participate in the financial conversation. You are invited to participate financially in the operations of our family. While “Pledge Sunday” is the beginning of November, you are welcome to make your financial commitment known at any time via an Estimate of Giving Card, which you can place in the offering plate or send to the church office.
